Paul Nicholls and Ruby Walsh struck as The Nightingale (4-6 favourite) made no mistake in the Racing Post Weekender Pendil Novices’ Chase. An easy winner on his chasing debut, he barely put a foot wrong in the Grade Two event.
Pendil Chase winner The Nightingale was cut from 33s to 14s with Stan James for the RSA Chase following his success in the Grade 2 Pendil Novices’ Chase at Kempton Park earlier this afternoon. Racing Post Chase winner Razor Royale was cut to 40s from 66s for the Grand National and from 25s to 16s for the William Hill Chase at next month’s Festival.
